We note surfaces, stains, and anything that needs protecting.
Plants, outlets, and fixtures are covered or avoided.
Cleaner is applied where mildew or stains need it.
Each surface is cleaned at the pressure it can safely take.
Surfaces dry before any painting or staining follows.
Not every surface should be hit with high pressure. Concrete, brick pavers, and some masonry can take it. Wood siding, painted surfaces, stucco, and roofing can be scarred, etched, or forced full of water by too much pressure or the wrong tip.
For those surfaces we use lower pressure and the right cleaning solution, letting the cleaner do the work. The goal is to remove dirt, dust, mildew, and chalk without damaging what is underneath.
Paint does not stick to dirt. On a home exterior, washing removes the dust, cobwebs, mildew, and chalky residue that would otherwise sit between the old surface and the new coating. It is the first step of every exterior repaint we do, and the house is given time to dry before any primer or paint goes on.
On its own, a wash is also a quick way to brighten siding, driveways, walkways, patios, and storefronts.
The area being cleaned, the type of surface, and how heavy the buildup is all factor in. Second-story work and tight access take longer. Oil stains, rust, and heavy mildew may need specific treatments beyond a standard wash.

Get an estimate for a project like thisYes — we adjust pressure and use soft-wash methods for delicate surfaces.
It can if the pressure is too high or the nozzle is too close. We match pressure and method to each surface to avoid etching, gouging, or forcing water behind siding.
The surface has to be fully dry first. That depends on the material and the weather, and we build that drying time into the schedule.
Yes. Concrete driveways, walkways, patios, and storefront sidewalks are all common jobs.
