We check the size, cause, and whether anything behind the wall needs attention.
Damaged drywall is cut out and replaced or filled.
Joints are taped and built up with thin coats of compound.
The repair is sanded flat and textured to match.
The area is primed and painted to blend with the wall.
Nail pops, anchor holes, doorknob dents, and settling cracks at corners and above doors are the everyday ones. We also repair larger damage: holes from plumbing or electrical work, water-stained sections once the leak is fixed, and corners that have taken a hit.
Small holes are filled and sanded. Larger ones are cut square, backed, patched with new drywall, taped, and finished with several thin coats of joint compound, each sanded smooth.
Three things give a patch away: a visible edge, a texture that does not match, and a difference in sheen. We feather compound well beyond the repair so there is no ridge, match the surrounding texture, and prime the patch before painting. Unprimed compound absorbs paint differently, which is what causes the dull or shiny spot people notice later.
For the best result, the whole wall is painted corner to corner rather than just the patched spot.
The size and number of repairs, whether texture has to be matched, and how much painting follows are the main factors. Ceiling repairs take longer than walls. Water damage is quoted after we can see how far it goes, and only once the source of the leak has been fixed.

Get an estimate for a project like thisYes — we texture-match and repaint so the repair is invisible.
Yes, once the leak is fixed and the area is dry. Stained or soft drywall is cut out and replaced, then sealed with a stain-blocking primer before painting.
Recurring cracks usually follow a joint that moves as the house settles. Proper taping and a flexible repair last far longer than filler alone.
For an invisible result, usually yes. Touching up only the patch can leave a visible difference in color or sheen, especially on older paint.
